Ocala Sweepstakes Patron Saves The Day Chases Off Robbers (with video)

Authorities in central Florida state two guys were attempting to rob an Internet cafe when a 71-year-old customer began shooting his very own firearm, wounding the suspects.

Monitoring video reveals two masked males getting in the Palms Internet Cafe around 10 p.m. Friday. The Ocala Star-Banner reports one directed a firearm at customers while the additional swung a baseball bat.

 

The video presentation shows customer Samuel Williams pulling a handgun as well as shooting. He carries on firing while the suspects stumble over one other as they run out the door.

Nineteen-year-olds Duwayne Henderson and also Davis Dawkins were later imprisoned and face attempted armed robbery with a firearm as well as criminal mischief charges. Both posted bond and were discharged.

Williams has a concealed weapons permit. Bill Gladson of the Marion County State Attorney’s Office points out the shooting appears warranted.
